Perennial House is expanding

Healthy Babies Projects works hand-in-hand with young District mothers who are pregnant or parenting. We empower these resilient youth to build better lives for themselves and their children. Many of these young mothers have made their home at HBP’s Perennial Transitional House, which opened in 2013 and remained at capacity until the pandemic.

Now, Perennial House is expanding. We are adding an additional story and units for families. The ground floor will be renovated to provide in-house childcare for residents. We’re inviting partners to join us as sponsors

Making Proud Choices Program is for DC youth ages 11-18. Sessions discuss healthy relationships, making informed choices to delay pregnancy and STD, negotiation skills, and goal setting.
