Build the Future Campaign

Introducing the “Build the Future” Campaign: Expanding the H.O.O.P.S. for Youth House

Every young mother deserves a safe place to grow, heal, and begin building a stable future for her family. Today, we are proud to share the launch of our Build the Future fundraising campaign — a community effort to complete the expansion of the H.O.O.P.S. for Youth House, a transitional home supporting homeless, pregnant, and parenting youth in Washington, D.C.

For years, Healthy Babies Project has walked alongside young parents as they navigate housing instability, economic pressure, and the challenges of early parenthood. The H.O.O.P.S. for Youth House provides more than a roof — it is a space of safety, stability, and one-on-one guidance. Here, young mothers receive case management, peer support, life-skills education, and the time and structure needed to build independence and thrive.

The expansion of this home has been a long-term vision shaped by many hands and many hearts. As we move into the final phase of construction, we are asking our community — neighbors, partners, supporters, and friends — to help us bring the project across the finish line. Completing this expansion means providing room for more families to access stability and support when they need it most.

To share progress and make supporting the project easy, we have created a dedicated campaign page with construction details, project milestones, giving levels, and a live funding tracker. We invite you to explore the page and help us spread the word:
