Teen Voices: Stories About Friendship

Teen Voices is…

A recurring interview series from Healthy Babies Project’s Life Empowerment Program, highlighting youth perspectives on life, relationships, and personal growth.

Teen Voices: Stories About Friendship is the first episode in a new interview series from Healthy Babies Project’s Life Empowerment Program.

In this episode, we asked three high school students from Washington, DC a simple but meaningful question:
What does friendship mean to you?

Their answers highlight the importance of trust, communication, mutual support, and personal growth — offering an honest look into how today’s teens navigate relationships in their daily lives.

Teen Voices is designed to amplify youth perspectives and create space for reflection, dialogue, and emotional development. Through guided conversations, students explore topics like identity, family, mental health, friendships, and future goals.

These conversations are part of Healthy Babies Project’s commitment to holistic youth development and life skills education.
